Hi there! I’m Fin, a playful toy-sized Black Poodle puppy with a coat as sleek as midnight. My beautiful coat comes from a proud lineage of Boudreaux Poodles known for their elegant black fur.
It’s just me and my apricot-colored brother in our small litter. While we both fall under toy size, he’s slightly bigger than me, closer to the upper end of the toy size range. He’s already found his loving home with a family who values privacy due to their status. That leaves me, ready to bring joy and cuddles to the perfect home!
Early Personality and Quick Learner
I’m the curious one in our little duo. I was the first to bark at just 2 weeks old, showing my early personality! By 4 weeks old, I started potty training and learned so quickly.

My Tail Story
Just a quick bark to share something unique about me – my tail got docked on October 31, 2024. Tail docking is common for Poodles and is done when we’re still tiny pups. It’s safe and quick, helping us maintain our traditional look while staying stylish during our playful adventures. Now my little tail adds flair to my sleek, dark coat!
My First De-Worming Adventure
I had my first de-worming, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! I was so excited at first, wagging my tail and ready for anything. The de-worming medication was actually tasty – who knew it would be so yummy? I enjoyed it like a treat! After that, it was photoshoot time. I posed like a little model, but it’s so hard to capture my cuteness with my dark coat! My sleek, black fur tends to blend into the background, so we decided to take a video instead.
After all that excitement, I got pretty tired! The day’s adventures wore me out, and I eventually took a well-deserved nap. You can see the whole process in the video, from my initial excitement to my sleepy little nap afterward. It’s just too cute to miss!
Vaccine Schedule and Rehoming
I’m due for my first vaccine on December 6, 2024, and I’ll be ready to meet my new family soon after!
Rehoming can take place between December 20-22, 2024, when I’ll be 8 weeks old. This is the perfect time to bring me into my new home, just in time for the holiday season!
I’ll be the perfect Christmas or New Year furkid, full of love and ready to bond. So, if you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion, I’m ready to become part of your family’s holiday season!

Looking for the Perfect Family
I’m looking for a family who can accommodate my needs and give me the attention I deserve. I have a calm personality, but as a handsome, heavy-boned Poodle, it would be such a waste not to show me off! I’m playful and love spending time outdoors, so I need a family who will make time to walk me and enjoy fun adventures together. While I don’t have a demanding personality, I do love being part of the action, just like my sister, Raven, who stayed in Boudreaux Kennel for future generations.
